About Pacific Media Expo
America's first major media trade show dedicated to Asian-Pacific popular culture and entertainment, Pacific Media Expo (PMX) is an industry event sponsored by the Pacific Media Association. Pacific Media Expo 2012 will be held Nov. 9-11 at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport. The show will feature honored guests, live performances, panel discussions, autograph sessions, Asian cinema and animation video rooms, art exhibitions and one of the country's only exhibit halls dedicated to Asian media and pop culture.

Billboard Charting Singer-Songwriter Ryan Stylez to Make a Special Appearance and Autograph Session at Pacific Media Expo 2012
For one day only on Saturday, November 10th, singer/songwriter Ryan Stylez will make an appearance for Pacific Media Expo 2012 at the LAX Hilton. He will be participating a panel from 5 to 6 p.m. and will have a community table to promote his latest works. Come meet and take pictures with one of the West Coast's biggest rising Pop Stars and be one of the first to hear his new radio single featuring Ray J!

Filipina Fashion Designer dolldelight Returns to Pacific Media Expo 2012
Filipina Asian street fashion designer dolldelight returns as an industry guest at Pacific Media Expo on November 9-11, 2012 at the LAX Hilton. dolldelight will be selling clothing and accessories at the Pacific Media Expo Artist Market throughout the convention. She is also scheduled for a panel and workshop with her fans, and a press conference.

Japanese Rock Band Moon Stream to Appear at Pacific Media Expo 2012
For the first time, Moon Stream will perform in Los Angeles at Pacific Media Expo 2012. Moon Stream will be in concert at Pacific Music Live 12 on Friday, November 9 and Saturday, November 10. Immediately following their concerts, Moon Stream will be available for autograph sessions, as well as a focus panel, photo sessions, and more throughout PMX 2012.

Legend of Korra, Hook Actor Dante Basco to Appear at Pacific Media Expo 2012
Filipino-American actor Dante Basco will appear at Pacific Media Expo (PMX) for one day only on Sunday, November 11, 2012. Mr. Basco will be at PMX to promote his latest movie Hang Loose. He is also scheduled for a press conference and an autograph session exclusively for PMX attendees.

Martial Arts Tournament, Way of the Stick and the Blade, and the First Annual Brazilian Jui-Jitsu tournament, White Out, To Hosted at Pacific Media Expo 2012
The Pacific Media Expo (PMX) Martial Arts Program will exclusively showcase disciplines from the Phillipines and Brazil through two tournaments, Way of the Stick and Blade: Tournament of Filipino Martial Arts and White Out!, PMX's first Brazilian Jui-jitsu white belt-only tournament. Workshops in Capoeira, Brazilian Jui-jitsu, and Yaw-yan Filipino Kickboxing will also be offered.

Masumi Kanoh, Lolita Fashion Designer to Appear as Fashion Guest of Honor at Pacific Media Expo 2012
Masumi Kanoh, designer for one of the largest Japanese Lolita fashion brands, Baby, the Stars Shine Bright, will be Pacific Media Expo's Fashion Guest of Honor. Always adoring the Lolita style, Ms. Kanoh began designing her own Lolita headwear while she was in school. Later, Ms. Kanoh went to school to study fashion. Eventually, she went on to design classical and princess motifs for Baby, the Stars Shine Bright, the first internationally-established Lolita brand. Masumi Kanoh will appear at a Q&A panel and a special ticketed event.

Pacific Media Expo Presents the L.A. County Fair's Asian Festival's Cosplay Runway
Pacific Media Expo will be producing the L.A. County Fair and Asian Festival's Cosplay Runway held on Friday, September 28 to Sunday, September 30, 2012. This halfhour showcase, from 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm, will feature cosplayers dressed in the latest anime characters for attendees of the L.A. County Fair.

The Power Rangers are coming! Power Rangers return to PMX to promote Power Rangers Samurai! The featured Rangers appearing at PMX are Alex Heartman (Jayden/Red Ranger), Steven Skyler (Antonio Garcia/Gold Ranger), Najee De-Tiege (Kevin/Blue Ranger), and Hector David, Jr. (Mike/Green Ranger). The 3D Virtual Performer, Hatsune Miku, to sing live at Pacific Media Expo 2012
Happy Disappearance Day! It's been five years since Hatsune Miku was taken down and returned to the Internet. Two weeks after her program was released, the popularity of the vocaloid program on the Japanese Internet had reached such a heightened frenzy that Google and Yahoo Japan began blocking the keywords "Hatsune Miku". The enormous traffic the search engines received for the keywords was mistakenly believed to be spam. Outcries about the "disappearance of Hatsune Miku" had been so loud, hours later Google and Yahoo would officially apologize and restore her back to the Internet. Thankfully, she was returned and is going to perform live at PMX 2012!
